I AM SHE

A series of works inspired by the Perukua song of the same name. Reflects the deep connection of the women in my family to nature as a symbol of mother. Nature and feminine energy have always been inseparable in our lives — we felt the vibrations of earth, air and water as if we were extensions of ourselves. Not only has knowledge been passed down through generations, but also an intuitive connection to the world around us has become part of our consciousness and perception.

In my paintings I visualise this relationship: how the body merges with nature but remains recognisable as a channel of feminine power and ancestral wisdom. I Am She' is like an expression of this eternal connection, where the harmony and strength of our lineage continues through each woman.
