ZIMA (winter)

Digital AR works where winter acts as a metaphor for alienation. Ducks sit peacefully on the ice, but their images seem to dissolve in the pixelated ripples of the image, symbolising their erasure from the minds of passers-by. People walk by, lost in their own worries, oblivious to the birds, the snow-covered houses and the nature sleeping in the snowdrifts around them. The cold blue background reinforces the sense of prolonged indifference, making the painting a reflection on the dulled perception of the world in the daily hustle and bustle of the city.
